EMPTY US SENATE SEAT DRAWER

April 9th, 2009 by Daron

This is the inside drawer of US Senate seat 84.

2 things :  Its empty (which is a bummer for MN) and am I mistaken or did all those old Senators tag their damn desk!  Apparently, P.Leahy of V.T John Hancocked with a sweet Krink paint marker.

another remix

February 23rd, 2009 by Daron

This ones an actual mashup  of Terry Lyn’s “Kingstonlogic” and Daft Punk’s “Tecnologic”.  It seemed fairly obvious that “Kingstonlogic” is a Jamaican style homage to the Daft Punk track.  When I say “Jamaican style” I mean, same key, almost same tempo, same idea but different. check it out.

Modern Music Party from Modern Music on Vimeo .

For Modern Music’s relaunch and new identity, they worked with Caleb Coppock, an amazing artist and graphic designer.  He and the team put together an idea to have the dot of Modern’s new logo roll around, looking for its missing piece.  Daron Walker and John Hermanson set it to music and the rest is open to your interpretation.

Modern Music for State Farm Teenage Drivers from Modern Music on Vimeo.

Modern Music commissioned the rearrangement of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classic song, “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” from artist, Sound of the Sun.

Working with DDB Chicago, this spot represents the dangers teenage drivers face in their first year on the road.

Download the song on State Farm’s website.
